ASSIGNMENTS & HOMEWORK
Students are expected to complete all class assignments and homework in a timely manner. Homework is assigned to reinforce classroom instruction, strengthen academic skills, and encourage independent learning and responsibility.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor homework completion each evening and maintain regular communication with teachers regarding academic progress or concerns.
Failure to complete assignments may negatively affect grades, classroom participation, and overall academic standing.
MAKE UP & MISSED ASSIGNMENTS
Students who are absent from school are responsible for obtaining and completing all missed assignments.
- Excused Absences: Students will be provided a reasonable amount of time to complete missed work.
- Unexcused Absences: Makeup work may be permitted at the discretion of the teacher and/or administration.
- Extended Absences: Long-term absences may require a parent conference and the development of an academic support plan.
It is the responsibility of both the student and parent/guardian to ensure that missed assignments are requested, completed, and submitted promptly.
