McMillian’s First Steps Child Care was established in March 1988 and is a fully licensed Class A school and interactive learning center serving children from infancy through preschool. Our Child Development Center serves children from 6 weeks to 4½ years of age, while McMillian’s First Steps Academy, established in 2013, serves students in Kindergarten through 8th grade (ages 5–13).
As a full-service educational institution, we provide both indoor and outdoor gross motor development areas, along with an experienced teaching staff who are all certified in CPR and First Aid. Our campus features two distinct buildings with more than 14,000 square feet of learning space, offering an enriching educational environment with a strong emphasis on individualized learning and student success.
